"text": "Rooms:\nWe stayed in the 8-bed dormitory (room 302) and it had one of the best views from one it's beds along with a big master bed in the middle. The rooms, bed and washroom were very clean and the 2-seater balcony on the rooftop was a special highlight for our stay. Overall, it is safe and clean stay.\n\nService:\nAnuj at the reception was very helpful who helped us with places to visit, arranging rented scooty and went above and beyond to arrange free pickup and drop for our luggage to the bus stand. Scooty rental is cheaper than other vendors with just 400rs/day. The cafe here can be a little expensive so plan to get some snacks or travel a little to have some good food.\n\nLocation:\nThe hostel is situated on the other side of the mall road when you arrive by the public transport and reaching the hostel from there might not be the most convenient especially early in the morning (rented scooty, rickshaws, taxis are not allowed on mall road). However, the view and calmness of the location is something which would weigh much more than one morning of inconvenience. Library chowk is just 900m downhill where you can find good places to eat like The Pebble Street or can get transport to dehradun or walk across the mall road.\n\nOverall:\nA budget -friendly hostel with good views, surroundings and service. Highly recommended if you're going to mussorie and want a peaceful stay.",

"text": "This is the best budget stay in Mussourie. The staff (Vijendra ji and Sandeep ji) serve the best piping hot Aloo pyaz parathas with love and laughter... The manager Mr. Anuj is very very helpful and a very warm person. We had a problem with our booking from our end but he helped us out and made our stay comfortable... A must visit place...",

"text": "I stayed at this property for 4 nights and my experience was consistently unpleasant. The hotel may look appealing on the surface, but the reality is extremely poor. Key issues I faced:\n\n1) Cleanliness\n\n• Bedsheets appeared unwashed and unhygienic.\n•Comforter was mouldy to the point of being a health hazard.\n•Pillows and curtains reeked of mildew and were visibly dirty.\n•Washroom was unclean, bolts were difficult to open, and the walls bore grime and filth.\n\n2) Facilities & Maintenance:\n\n•Toilet seat cover refused to stay upright.\n•Faucets were either dysfunctional or poorly maintained.\n• The false ceiling over the bed was cracked and the ceiling over the vanity was leaking water\n•The overall upkeep of the room was abysmal—everything looked presentable at first glance but crumbled under the slightest scrutiny.\n\n3) Service Standards:\n\n•Room service was consistently late, indifferent, and unhelpful.\n•Their room service app failed to process even basic food orders.\nThe only redeeming factor was the front desk and reception staff, who were polite and helpful despite the chaos elsewhere.\n\nOverall Experience:\nStaying here felt less like being in a hotel and more like being trapped in a glorified dumpster dressed up with wallpaper. The property is all show and no substance the most saddening part is that there is no glaring problem with the property itself, it's just the lack of maintenance and upkeep that keeps this property from being a pleasant experience. Images have been attached with this review to corroborate my claims. I hope this acts as a wake up call to the management and the staff and make social stays a socially acceptable stay.",

"text": "Very bad experience staying at this hotel. The room given was just near the reception and the room had big window with glass, due to which everytime anyone talked the voice came inside the room. It didn't feel like a private room but a dharamshala.\nNo efforts were made from the staff to reduce the noise or to ensure that the people inside the room don't get disturbed.\n\nI had gone to mussoorie to enjoy the peace and relax, but I found more peace on streets than in my hotel room. There are noises coming in till 11 at night in the room and you can't even sleep as per your convenience.\n\nDon't book.",
