Receptionist (Ms. Simran) - Unattentive; No customer greetings on arrival; Extreme lack of knowledge about the property; zero parking assistance & ettiquttes\n\n2. The housekeeping rules are weird, they deny cleaning your rooms till the checked out rooms are made.\n\n3. The kitchen/ cafe staff needs urgent training on hygeine, presentation and serving. The coffee comes 15 min before the actual meal and half the things arrive by the time the coffee is done.\n\n4. The beds are of spring and can break your back, especially if you're planning a long stay. They need to swap them urgently with the medium soft mattresses.\n\n5. Noone picks the call; we called over 20 times on the day of arrival to check on parking facility. Zero response, pathetic.",

"text": "Booked this place thinking the common area would be a spot to chill after a full day of sightseeing, but they shut it at 10:30 PM. Like seriously, who uses the common area during the day? People are out exploring. The whole point is to come back at night, relax, meet people and hang out. Closing it that early completely kills the vibe and defeats the purpose of even having a common area. If you’re marketing a social stay, at least understand how travelers actually use the space.",

"text": "Recently stayed at The Social Stays, Rishikesh, and had a pleasant experience overall. The place has a cozy, comfortable vibe and is beautifully designed with a colorful, creative aesthetic that feels warm and welcoming. The common area is quite nice - with books, games, and seating spaces where you can relax and spend time.\n\nThe café is located on the rooftop, which is a lovely touch. Tried their paranthas and coffee, both were tasty and filling. There was a small issue with the gas stove one morning, so breakfast wasn’t available in-house that day, but nearby options made it manageable.\n\nThe rooms were nice and comfortable, though a few small things could be improved with regular maintenance. For instance, the kettle needed replacement, the bedside lamp wasn’t working, and the balcony door lock could be smoother. There’s no TV or room heating, and it took a little time to figure out the geyser initially. These are minor things, but addressing them would make the stay even better.\n\nThe staff deserves a special mention - they are friendly, polite, and helpful whenever approached. Occasionally, it took a little time to find someone at the reception, but everyone was courteous and supportive.\n\nOverall, it’s a good, pleasant place with a lovely vibe and thoughtful design. With a bit more attention to maintenance and management, it can become an even better stay experience.\n\nThey also have other facilities available with them like scooty rental, booking adventure activities, etc.",
